Lost Time Difference

Ok, I’m definately going to have to look at this closer after a night’s sleep, but here’s what I’ve come up with so far.

Based on:

Jack saying that he’s gone 100 days without a baseball game.

The time difference of 31min and 20sec between the clock on the island and the clock that was on the rocket.

Oceanic crashed on 9/22/2004 @ 10:15 (Lost Wikipedia)

The date for the survivors on the island would be 12/31/2004. The date off the island would be 2/22/2005. Haven’t thought about any importance or theory yet. We’ll see what a night’s sleep brings.

How about this formula below based on the rocket time:

    Islandtime (seconds):
    1860 (31 minutes)
    Outside World Time (seconds):
    20

Outside World time is faster by 93 times.
Island World time is Slower by 0,010752688 times.

    Therefore:
    Crash Date was: 22/9/2004 10:15
Add 100 days to that to get the Island Date/Time: 31/12/2004 10:15

BUT – THE CURRENT DATE ON OUTSIDE WORLD WOULD BE:
    100 * 0,010752688 + 22/9/2004 10:15 = 23/9/2004 12:03

So basically for the rest of the world, one day has passed since the crash.

    Nice theory huh?

    :)
